Organisation Profile:
Humanitarian Information Network
This network was set up after the first Symposium in 2002. It's purpose was to continue the work of the symposium, with discussions, news and by arranging regional workshops.
Three conferences were organised, but the newsletter stopped after three issues. The web site now looks as if it get's one hour's attention every six months. It is poorly structured, out of date, and hardly referenced by other organisations.
The network is also reported to have endorsed the ten principles put forward at the first symposium.
This web site clearly lacks the institutional commitment to achieve what was intended.
