GRT build systems for data collection, storage and representation in disasters. They specialise in real-time systems and GIS which can be rapidly deployed. All the data is handled at their operations centre.

In Katrina they supplied the US Marines with the PDAs and software to record and relay the data as they perceived it. But they also work on slower projects such as civil engineering and health monitoring in remote areas.

Their partners are listed as technology companies rather than the usual mix of UN, governments and NGOs.
