As well as responding to disasters directly, this organisation trains local people in map making so that communities can be prepared.

The skills provided for disaster response are much more than mere GIS. They also provide specialists in project management, information management, statistics and survey techniques.

They work with large partners and donors on high profile disasters, but also planning a food security project in Zimbabwe
